about

Rapture, a single release from the forthcoming album Utopia, to be released on the 1st May 2021.

lyrics

And a message in the sand.
To all it may concern.
This was their final stand.

And before the words began to bleed.
Their faces in rapture.
Viewed that hallowed scene.

They saw the earth.
The hills and trees.
A last glimpse, of rivers flowing to the sea.

And the blackness of the night.
A vessel to hold.
Their memories of light.

They saw the earth.
The hills and trees.
A last glimpse, of rivers flowing to the sea.

They saw the earth.
They felt the heat.
Plums of light, to warm a frozen scene.

Now the host tells them how to follow the line.
How to monocrop, their errant plight.

And the joker turns, to take his final bow.
His last request now disavow.

As they turn their back to muse.
To songs once heard.
Now sacrificial tunes.

And the loves that they once knew.
Now blinded by.
Their new gods of truth.

They saw the earth.
The hills and trees.
A last glimpse, of rivers flowing to the sea.

They saw the earth.
They felt the heat.
Plums of light, to warm a frozen sea.
